Blog #7 - Second Interview Preparation
1. Who is your mentor and where do they work? If their workplace does not reflect their expertise, what makes them an expert?
My mentor's name is Jennifer and she is part of the Orphanage Priceless Pet Rescue Adoption No-Kill Shelter. She is an expert because she has been part of the shelter for years and is there everyday of the week taking care of the animals and directs all the volunteers. Her daughter even volunteered for a few years.
2. What five questions will you ask them about their background?
Because I haven't gotten to know her well I would ask:
- "How'd you find Priceless Pets?"
- "What is the best story you have on an adoption?"
- "What do you do/did before being part of the shelter?"
- "How and when did you realize your passion for saving dogs and cats?"
- " How many pets have you had including the ones you own right now?"
