(d) I went to ten sessions of PetSmart training classes with Leslie Torres and her puppy, Alpha.
(e) I completed my 30 Hours of my Independent Component by attending and watching, even participating in training classes with one of my classmates' and friends' dog Alpha who is 7 months old. I began to attend the classes in February watching Alpha graduate and begin the next level classes. He has improved greatly and is amazing to see him and the other dogs improve as well! Training is very important to an owner's relationship with their pet, especially if the dog is from a shelter.
(f) This component helped me answer my EQ because training will only benefit the relationship of a pet and an owner. The more well behaved a dog is, the less problems and stress the relationship will have. If a shelter pet is trained it will only make the dog more attractive to a potential adopter.
