Blog #25 - Last Presentation Reflection
(1) Positive Statement
What are you most proud of in your block presentation and/or your senior project? Why?
I am actually really proud of my presentation audience. I am so happy that not only seniors asked me questions but juniors that I don't know seemed to be generally interested and asked me questions as well. Also I am proud of my slideshow. I really love how it turned out.(2) Questions to Consider
a. What assessment would you give yourself on your block presentation? Use the component contract to defend that assessment.
AE P AP CR NC
b. What assessment would you give yourself on your overall senior project? Use the component contract to defend that assessment.
AE P AP CR NC
(3) What worked for you in your senior project?
My topic overall worked for me. I loved my topic and it taught me life lessons that I could use in the future. The skills that I learned at my mentorship I applied to the job that I got now and I plan to go to my mentorship in the future as well.(4) (What didn't work) If you had a time machine, what would you have done differently to improve your senior project?
I would have been more on top of my research. I learned a lot and read a lot from my research. I kept my WB updated but my notebook was just something hard for me to keep up on. I can see the use of it because I used it for my essay and presentation so it's something that I wished I completed entirely. I also would have just start working on all my presentations earlier to better myself to prepare.
(5) Finding Value
How has the senior project been helpful to you in your future endeavors? Be specific and use examples.
YES. I learned customer service, teamwork, and communication. It was my first real "job" experience and I'm really glad I found my mentorship.
