(909) 599 - 7512
(909) 599 - 7512
2. What qualified this person as an expert in your topic choice?
Mr. Gregory had his position for 20 years that took him Recreational background schooling. He took Geology, Genomics, Economics, and Specific Recreational Activities courses. Before he worked for Recreation in Los Angeles for Job Core that is a Federal Government Agency.
3. List three questions for further exploration now that you've completed your summer hours.
- What is the best way a Nature Center could help the area around it?
- On a usual basis how long does the Nature Center keep animals to rehabilitate?
- How could we get more local involvement to better help the center?
4. What is the most important thing you gained from this experience? Why?
In my experience, the most important thing I learned was teamwork. The Nature Center runs with the volunteers up keep and with all of us doing a job and working together we created a cleaner and overall better environment for the animals and any visitors. For example, every Saturday we have a presentation of some of the animals for anyone who came to visit and we all worked as a system to get ready for it.
5. What is your senior project topic going to be? How did mentorship help you make your decision? Please explain.
I still hope I to find an Animal Hospital or No-Kill Shelter, but my time in the San Dimas Nature Center were great and if I am able to work around it I may even stay during the year or maybe as a Independent Component. I'm hoping I could be more hands on with animals and with people.
